The most wonderful time of the year, just got a little more wonderful! The start of the holiday season also marks the beginning of engagement season, and proposal ideas are on the top of search lists.

It’s important to note that engagement season does not equal wedding season. Engagement season is the time of year where proposals are incredibly popular, while wedding season is a time for the actual nuptials.

Technically, engagement season starts around Thanksgiving and ends around Valentine’s Day. Although, December is the absolute peak of the proposal season. According to a study, 7 of the 10 most popular days to get engaged take place in December, alone!

Now that we are knee-deep in engagement season, it’s time to prepare to get down on one knee! Before we share with you some unique proposal ideas, let’s first get you ready to pop the question with these three tips. No. 1 The Perfect Ring

There are many things to consider when picking out the perfect ring for your partner: size, shape, color, karat, style, etc. If you didn’t have a candid conversation about potential rings for your partner, with your partner before the engagement, then you’re going to have to do some sleuthing. Search their Pinterest page for a “wedding” folder or enlist some good friends to get the tea! It’s also important to consider your partner’s personal style and taste.
